Creation Myth
In the beginning there was a wall of darkness. And that was bad. Day by day the darkness grew and consumed all in its path. In the center of the darkness was a mind; a simple mind that belonged to a girl. The darkness only surrounded the girl and beyond that there was light. However, the girl only knew the darkness, for that was her world from the beginning. Then one day the girl decided to meet with Her. She was sent to help the girl be rid of the darkness. The girl allowed Her to break through the darkness and so the slow process began. Day by day the girl and Her chipped away at the wall of darkness. Soon there were small holes of light attempting to break through. At first the girl was afraid of the light because it was new and scary. But She taught the girl to embrace the light and to let it come through. After months of hard work chiseling away at the tough dark wall, a final, hard blow with a hammer shattered the black wall into pieces. The light poured in and blinded the girl at first but she was not afraid. For the girl knew that She did this in order to help her eventually see. Once the girl felt the warm embrace of light, she opened her eyes and saw a world forged from beauty. Bright blue skies hung above her and cool sweet grass beneath. Everything was bright and wonderful and new. The girl’s world was no longer walls of darkness, because She came along and formed a world a color and beauty.
